Hello!

Hi!
For my first blog post I would just like to explain why I’m doing this, what the blog will be about, and possible goals.

First, the reasons i’m starting a blog:

• I have a unique idea for my blog. Well I guess writing about music isn’t really super unique, BUT, i’ll be writing about a certain area of music that may not receive as much attention as other genres
• I really have stuff I want to talk about but really no one to talk to them about, the solution? Write about it online!
• It sounds like a fun yet challenging hobby to spend time on

Second, What the blog will be about. I intend to write a music review blog, reviewing new music, concerts, and everything in between. I’d like to possibly interview artists and post the interviews here but that won’t be something that’ll happen very soon. I’d also like to post personal opinions on things in the music scene occasionally. The genre I’d like to write about is alternative music. For example, Pop-Punk, Metalcore, Post-Hardcore, etc…

Lastly, the goals I hope to attain in this blog:
Short Term: Write a successful blog and possibly start a related podcast for the blog
Long Term: Interview artists for a better inside perspective on the music industry.

That’s it for the first post. I hope you got a general idea of what this blog will be about and what to expect with future posts.
